ZERA was established in 1920 in the town of Königswinter on the Rhine under the name of Zähler- Eich-und-Reparatur-Anstalt. Our focus is the development and manufacture of test systems for measuring voltage, current and power. We do not produce electricity meters or instrument transformers, but the test solution for them. Therefor, we are able to guarantee our absolute neutrality in this highly sensitive field. We are committed to the quality seal ,,Made in Germany" for more than 90 years.

What does ZERA stand for? Over apperiod of several decades, ZERA has changed from a service company for meter calibration into a highly specialished producer of test equipment. Our solutions have helped to shape technological developments in testing. ZERA test systems fall into the highest posible accuracy classes and are recognised worldwide. Thus, for example, our calibration laboratory was granted

accreditation by the German Calibration Service (DKD) at the beginning of 2000 - an accreditation accepted by metrological laboratories all over the world. On this basis, we have been developing and manufacturing highest precision portable and stationary test systems for decades.
